Terms and Conditions

The rules for using this website, who you are dealing with, and what happens if we disagree.

Last updated September 25, 2026.

How this site works

Water Treatment Co. is a brand of Valiant Firm, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Valiant Firm, LLC owns and runs this website.

We do not install, service or repair anything ourselves. The work at your home is carried out by one independent contractor company. The people who come to your house are not our employees. If you buy equipment or have it installed, your agreement is with that company. The price, the schedule, the workmanship and any warranty come from them, not from us.

That company pays us a commission when a homeowner we introduce goes ahead with the work. We do not charge you anything.

We do not publish that company's name on this site. You will get it in writing from them before anyone comes to your home, and you do not have to agree to anything until then. If you want it sooner, email hello@watertreatmentco.com and we will send it to you.

Agreeing to these terms

By sending us a form on this site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not send the form. You are welcome to read the site and to call us without agreeing to anything.

These terms include an agreement to settle most disputes by individual arbitration, and to give up the right to take part in a class action. You can opt out of that within 30 days and it costs you nothing. See If we have a disagreement below.

What you tell us

Please give us correct information. If you give us a phone number, give us one that is your own.

Do not use this site to break the law, to copy or scrape it automatically, to submit another person's information, or to interfere with how it runs.

Quotes, prices and estimates

Any price or range shown on this site is general information. It is not an offer and it is not a quote.

A real price comes from the contractor in writing, after someone has looked at your home. Any price you agree to will be written in that agreement. Read it before you sign.

Buying at your home

If you sign an agreement at your home, you usually have three business days to change your mind. That right comes from federal and Texas law, and the company that sells you the system is the one that gives you the written notice and the cancellation form. If you did not get one, or you want to cancel and are not sure how, call us on (469) 639-1484 and we will help you sort it out.

Water quality information on this site

IMPORTANT

Figures shown for a city come from that public water system's published reports for the year named on the page. They describe the public water system as a whole for that reporting period. They do not describe the water at your address. What reaches your tap also depends on your service line, your plumbing, your fixtures and your water heater. Lead, for example, usually comes from pipes and fixtures rather than from the treatment plant. Published figures are a snapshot of a past year and can change. If you want to know what is in the water at your address, have the water at your address tested.

This site is not advice

What you read here is general information. It is not a water test, and it is not plumbing, engineering, medical or health advice. Nothing on this site means that any product is needed at your address.

Warranties

DISCLAIMER

This website and everything on it are provided AS IS. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Valiant Firm, LLC makes no warranties of any kind about this website or its content, and specifically disclaims the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY and the implied warranty of FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Valiant Firm, LLC does not warrant any equipment, any installation or any workmanship. Any warranty on equipment, or on work done at your home, comes from the manufacturer or from the contractor. We are not a party to it and we do not give it.

Where this site mentions a lifetime warranty on the tanks, or a one year warranty, that warranty is given by the manufacturer or by the contractor, not by Valiant Firm, LLC. The full written warranty, including what it covers and how long it lasts, comes with the contractor's agreement. If anything on this site does not match that written warranty, the written warranty is the one that counts.

Limits on our liability

PLEASE READ

First, what this does not do. Nothing in this section limits or waives any claim you may have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act, and nothing here covers fraud, or intentional or reckless misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under Texas law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, Valiant Firm, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost savings, arising out of your use of this website, including where those damages are caused by our own negligence. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of this website or of the content on it will not exceed the amount you have paid us. Using this website is free, so that amount is normally zero.

Your rights under Texas law

Nothing in these terms waives any right you have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 17 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code. If any part of these terms would have that effect, that part does not apply.

If we have a disagreement

Please tell us first. Before starting arbitration or filing suit against us, send us written notice at the address at the bottom of this page. Tell us what happened and what you want. Give us 60 days to put it right. This is what we ask of you under these terms. It is separate from any notice Texas law may require you to give, so please check your own position or ask a lawyer rather than relying on this paragraph.

ARBITRATION

Individual arbitration and class action waiver. If we cannot resolve it, you and Valiant Firm, LLC agree that the dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial, and the right to take part in a class action or any other representative proceeding. Whether this arbitration agreement applies to a particular dispute is for the arbitrator to decide, under the AAA rules.

We will pay the arbitration filing and administration fees that the AAA Consumer Rules make our responsibility. If the AAA will not administer the case, you and we will agree on another administrator, and if we cannot agree, a court may appoint one.

If there is an in-person hearing, it will be held in the county where you live. The arbitrator may award anything a court could award on your claim, including attorney's fees and any damages available under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small claims court.

How to opt out. You can opt out of arbitration and the class action waiver within 30 days of the day you first send us a form. Email hello@watertreatmentco.com with the words arbitration opt-out in the subject line, or write to the address below. Include your name and the phone number or email address you used. Opting out is free, changes nothing else in these terms, and will not change how we handle your request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Except for the arbitration agreement above, nothing in these terms changes where the law lets you bring a claim, and nothing here affects the small claims option described above.

Links to other sites

We link to city water reports, to state and federal agencies, and to manufacturers. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they say.

Phone calls and text messages

Calls to the number on this site are recorded. See our Privacy Policy for what that means. Separate terms apply to text messages, in our SMS Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply going forward and not backward, and they do not change the terms that applied to a request you already sent us.

If part of this does not hold up

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable, the rest of the arbitration agreement still applies to your individual claim.
