What this site collects, what we do with it, and who else sees it.

Who we are
This site is owned and run by Valiant Firm, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Water Treatment Co. Our details are at the bottom of this page.
What you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, you give us your name, your phone number and your email address. If you choose to, you also give us your street address and whatever you write in the message box.
What we collect automatically
When you send a form, we also record the internet protocol (IP) address the request came from, the page you sent it from, and that page's title. That information travels with your form, so we can tell where an inquiry came from and so we can catch spam. It is included in the email we and the contractor receive.
Our server also keeps a short record used only to limit how many times one address can submit within a ten minute window. It does not hold your name or your contact details.
Phone calls are recorded
Calls to the phone number on this site are recorded. The number is a tracking number provided by Twilio. Calls ring first to the independent contractor who would do the work, and if they do not pick up the call comes through to Valiant Firm, LLC. Recordings and call details are used to answer your request, to train the people who take calls, and to check quality. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call, or email us instead at hello@watertreatmentco.com. Twilio's privacy notice is at twilio.com/en-us/legal/privacy.
Cookies and Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages people read. Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_VHHFJKG486. They hold a random identifier, not your name.
Google collects information about your visit, including your IP address, in order to provide us with Analytics. Google also uses some of that information for its own purposes. Google explains this at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
This site also loads fonts from Google servers at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Loading a font sends your IP address to Google.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Other companies collecting information across sites
Google, through Google Analytics and Google Fonts, may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording, or any other company's tracking on this site.
How we use what you give us
- To reply to you, arrange a visit and get you a price.
- To contact you by phone, text or email using the details you gave us, in the way described by the consent box on the form.
- To keep the site working, to stop spam, and to see which pages are useful.
Who else sees it
Your form is emailed to one independent contractor company, the one that would do the work at your home, so that they can contact you, arrange a time and carry out what you asked about. We do not publish that company's name on this site. If you want it before you send the form, email hello@watertreatmentco.com and we will send it to you.
A copy is also sent to Valiant Firm, LLC at info@valiantfirm.com. Valiant Firm owns and runs this website.
Our email provider, our phone provider and our analytics provider handle your information as part of providing those services to us.
We will also share information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect someone's rights or safety.
Your request goes to that one contractor and nowhere else. We do not send it to a panel of companies, we do not sell or rent lists of people, and we do not give your information to data brokers, advertisers or lead buyers. We are not paid for sending a lead. We are paid a commission by the contractor only if you decide to go ahead with the work. We do not use your information for anything except answering your request, and we do not give it to anyone for marketing.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party or lead generator for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number goes to one company only, the independent contractor who would do the work at your home, so that they can contact you about the request you made.
How long we keep it
Form submissions arrive as email and stay in our mailbox and in the contractor's mailbox. There is no separate customer database behind this site.
Keeping it safe
This site uses an encrypted connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted while it travels to our server. From there it is sent as ordinary email, which is not encrypted end to end. We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No way of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices
- Email hello@watertreatmentco.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will delete the copies in our own mailboxes and ask the contractor to delete theirs. We cannot promise what another company does with a copy already sent to them, so please ask as early as you can. We aim to reply within 30 days.
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms.
- Tell us to stop emailing or calling, and we will stop.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and other adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so in a notice at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
